With some spare Croftyran bodies i decided to use them for some Gwynt. I downloaded the Gwynt extras from Zombie Smiths Tribe on My Mini Factory.
I do not own a 3D printer but have been using MarDav Miniatures who offer 3D printing services.
So after building my first Gwynt Rhyfler and undercoating with Halfords Matt Black Aerosol, I sat down to figure out my colours for them.
Firstly I painted my base colours (Vallejo),
>Trousers/Collar/Gloves: Off White
>Coat: Heavy Red
>Cuffs/Backpack: Heavy Ochre
>Belts/Bottletop/wood: Heavy Sienna
>Metal/Hat/KnifeSheath/torque/Boots: Black
I have decided on seven skin colours for the Quar, the base colour for each is.
>Red: Heavy Red
>Blue: Heavy Blue
>Purple: Heavy Violet
>Green: Heavy Green
>Yellow: Heavy Ochre
>Orange: Heavy Orange
>Pink: Heavy Orange
Once dry, I gave the whole model a wash of Agrax Earthshade.
Next comes the proper painting!
To finish the Model I painted it as follows,
>Trousers/Collar/Gloves/Hat Ribbon: Dead White
>Coat: Bloody Red
>Belts/Knife Handle: Black Brown
>Hats/Boots/Scabbard: Heavy Charcoal
>Cuffs: Green Ochre
>Bottle top: Beige Brown
>Bottle: Olive Green
>Backpack: Tan Earth
>Wood: German Camo, Pale Brown
>Metal: Gunmetal
>Spoon/Torque/knifehilt & guard: Natural steel
And for the Base I painted it German Camo Medium Brown and picked out rocks and stones in Basalt Grey.
Last thing to paint is the skin, so depending on the base colour, I painted with.
>Red: Red
>Blue: Andrea Blue
>Purple: Blue Violet
>Green: Scorpy Green
>Yellow: Flat Yellow
>Orange: German Orange
>Pink: Basic Skin Tone
For the Speckles I'm using pretty much random colours but keeping to reds and browns for the Base, while adding whatever colour looks good for the spot.
